The Section of Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Infectious Diseases is recruiting for a research study coordinator to support the implementation of multiple research studies at Boston Medical Center (BMC) patients in the Boston Medical Center TB clinic.
Responsibilities:
Screening and enrollment of participants, explaining research procedures, obtaining informed consent, and administering interviews and surveys. Assisting with study procedures as needed; coordinating specimen collection, performing data collection and data entry; maintaining clear, concise, accurate, and legible records. Scheduling study visits and providing reminder calls. Maintaining study supply inventory. May assist with preparing and maintaining regulatory records. Participating in staff meetings/initiatives including appropriate quality improvement and education activities, or if unable to attend non-mandatory activities, accepting responsibility to review meeting minutes and becoming knowledgeable of issues discussed. Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of experience. Please note all newly hired staff and faculty will need to be in compliance with Boston University’s COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster Requirement within 30 days of the date of hire.
