Role Overview: As a Network Security Consultant, you will advise clients on best practices and strategies to safeguard their networks from emerging threats. Your role will involve assessing security postures, designing robust security solutions, and guiding clients through the implementation of industry-leading tools and policies. You’ll collaborate with IT, security, and executive teams to enhance network defenses and maintain regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Security Assessments:

Conduct comprehensive network security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation actions. Architecture & Design:

Develop secure network architectures, optimize firewall configurations, and ensure secure access control policies. Compliance & Governance:

Align security strategies with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS) and regulatory requirements. Incident Response:

Collaborate with stakeholders to create incident response plans, investigate security incidents, and support rapid mitigation efforts. Tooling & Automation:

Advise on and integrate advanced security solutions, including IDS/IPS systems, SIEM platforms, and network monitoring tools. Client Collaboration & Training:

Communicate effectively with clients, provide tailored security recommendations, and deliver training sessions to improve their internal security capabilities. Qualifications: Experience:

5+ years of experience in network security, including firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and network segmentation. Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of common security protocols, network troubleshooting, SIEM tools, and VPN technologies. Familiarity with cloud-based networking and zero-trust frameworks is a plus. Certifications:

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CCNP Security are preferred. Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, client-facing presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
