As a DevOps Systems Administrator, you'll be at the forefront of technology, tackling complex challenges in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include: Administering and maintaining server systems on local and wide-area networks. Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Managing infrastructure and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Investigating and resolving technical issues, ensuring smooth operational workflows. Contributing to the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to support agile, high-quality software delivery. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Education & Experience:
BA/BS degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Clearance:
TS clearance adjudication and ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly. Technical Expertise:
Proficiency with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments. Experience configuring and managing Linux operating systems. Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, Ansible, and Puppet. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts and tools. Strong understanding of big data concepts and cloud technologies such as AWS and Oracle.
Certifications:
Active Security+ certification. Problem-Solving Skills:
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data analytic systems. Desired Qualifications: Eligibility to obtain an SCI with polygraph. Experience working in an Agile software development environment. Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for team collaboration. Knowledge of Ruby and/or Python for scripting and automation. Expertise in using container tools like Docker.
