Collaborate with multiple merchants on various lines of business to design fun collections and innovative products, infusing story and ensuring product is on brand. Attend fit sessions ensuring character likeness is captured. Evaluate trends and consumer insights to identify new business opportunities, explore current design trends and innovations, and create concept boards for presentation. Create innovative new products through collaborative team brainstorming and exploration. Prepare all necessary components for design presentations and product review meetings. Work closely with third-party vendors, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring seamless communication throughout the design and production process. Provide accurate design overlays based on a strong understanding of fabrications, cost, testing issues, and production. Qualifications Degree in Fashion Design. Minimum 7 years design/product development experience within the Ready to Wear or costume industry. Licensing experience is a plus. Keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of product manufacturing and process; experience with PLM systems is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Ability to multi-task and handle several projects simultaneously.
