Salary:
Depends on Experience per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and optimize CNC programs for the creation of complex aerospace components, ensuring precision and compliance with specifications. Operate and supervise CNC machinery, modifying programs and adjustments as required to maximize quality and efficiency. Analyze and interpret technical blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings to accurately fabricate components. Engage in continuous process improvement efforts to reduce production times, enhance efficiency, and minimize material waste. Perform rigorous quality assurance tests on finished products to confirm they meet stringent industry standards and precise client specifications. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, quality assurance, and production to troubleshoot issues and enhance product outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of programming changes, tooling updates, and machining parameters to adhere to industry practices and company policies. Minimum Position Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or significant equivalent experience. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming within the aerospace industry. Proficient in the use of CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, CATIA, NX, or similar applications. Strong command of G-code and M-code, and comprehensive knowledge of CNC machine operation, including both milling and turning. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and familiarity with AS9100 or related quality management systems. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certification in CNC programming or related technical credentials. Deep proficiency in sophisticated CNC software packages and extensive experience in CAD/CAM programming for intricate aerospace parts. Prior exposure to a high-precision manufacturing environment, particularly in the aerospace and defense sectors. Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with various technical teams.
