Responsibilities This position will provide hands-on SAP expertise to design, develop, test, and implement programs including reports, interfaces, and data conversions. Responsibilities include:
Adhere to and enforce software development methodology on projects for consistent results.
Follow departmental procedures for the preparation, execution, and validation of change control documentation.
Test and debug programs to verify accuracy and completeness.
Design and execute user acceptance testing in collaboration with Business Systems Analysts.
Create technical specifications for SAP-based software applications that improve business processes.
Write and document software code that results in desired functionality within SAP.
Effectively plan resources and tasks, make decisions, deliver results, and build effective relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
5 to 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming with advanced knowledge of modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, HR, PP, PM, QM, WM, Logistics.
Experience in designing, developing, and modifying ABAP programs, including standard and interactive reports, Module Pool programming, and SAP Scripts.
Experience with ALE/EDI, IDOC configurations, and custom IDOC development.
Proficiency in developing batch data conversion programs using LSMW, BDC, and data dictionary management.
Experience in debugging and analyzing existing processes to provide innovative solutions.
Familiarity with CDS views, ABAP Web Dynpro, and Fiori/SAPUI5 development.
Experience in developing SAP BTP and SAP PO data integration using various industry-specific adapters.
Ability to work with business users and analysts to understand requirements and convert them into functional/technical specifications.
Provide on-call production support on a rotation basis during weekends and after hours.
Experience with S/4 HANA is a plus.

The estimated starting compensation range is $76,179 - $180,000. The actual pay offered may vary based on factors such as experience and location.
