We are looking for a collaborative Big Data Developer to help build and roll out multiple Risk Scoring based applications. You will be working within our advanced Big Data Tech Stack including Java, Python, and SQL Spark, Hadoop, Hive, DynamoDB, RedShift, Athena, Kinesis, data lake, Iceberg, Hudi, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, NoSQL, Parquet, Avro, and graph databases. This collaborative, diverse group of Big Data Developers is building the next generation, best-in-show Risk Scoring applications for customers in multiple business verticals. Requirements
Current and extensive development experience and expertise with similar tools: Java, Python, SQL, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, DynamoDB, RedShift, Athena, Kinesis, data lake, Iceberg, Hudi, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, NoSQL, Parquet, Avro, graph databases. Familiarity with industry best practices — code coverage. Demonstrated proficiency with data manipulation languages. Knowledge and experience of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Responsibilities
Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Collaborate closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Thrive within our advanced Big Data Tech Stack and be open to learning and using new technologies. Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve technical issues as necessary. Diversity and Inclusion
