BRONX, NY, US Reports to (Title): CERC Psychologists Department: Pediatrics Division: RFK Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (RFK CERC) at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Location: 1225 Morris Park Avenue, Van Etten Building Supervisors: Erin Rivelis, Ph.D., Mayra Alvarez, Ph.D., and Monica McQuaid, Ph.D. Summary of Position: Postdoctoral fellow will work with patients, from early childhood through adulthood, with neurodevelopmental disabilities and comorbid emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties at RFK CERC. Primary responsibilities will focus on diagnostic and intervention needs. Administer, score, and write reports for:

Psychological evaluations (including cognitive, adaptive, and social-emotional assessment) Psychoeducational evaluations

Carry a caseload of weekly psychotherapy and psychoeducational treatment/remediation cases Work as part of a multidisciplinary team Provide feedback, recommendations, and/or referrals to patients and/or family/guardian from evaluations Provide follow-up with patients and/or families, as needed Consult with third parties (e.g., schools, medical personnel, clinicians), as needed Depending on experience and training, potential for a supervisory/teaching role to psychology externs Opportunities to attend and present at weekly multidisciplinary team conferences Opportunities to attend and present at weekly unit didactics Opportunities to attend weekly CERC core lectures and weekly Montefiore grand rounds Receive weekly supervision from a licensed psychologist Site Description: The fellowship offers individuals the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and young adults, with learning, language, attention, social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties in the context of a multidisciplinary team (e.g., psychologists, social workers, speech/language therapists, pediatricians). The Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) is the clinical arm of The Rose F. Kennedy Center at Montefiore Medical Center. It provides a broad spectrum of clinical services for infants, children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities. One of the largest centers of its kind in the United States, CERC is a voluntary, nonsectarian agency whose services are essential components of the care available in New York City and New York State to all individuals with developmental disabilities. Requirements: Completion of Ph.D. or Psy.D. from a clinical psychology, school psychology, or related field NYS Limited License, required Experience with neurodevelopmental disabilities, preferred English/Spanish bilingual preferred, but others will be considered Applications: Interested applicants should submit their cover letter, CV, a sample redacted report, three letters of recommendation, a letter of good standing from educational institution, and official transcript to: Erin Rivelis, Ph.D.

Salary Range/Pay Rate:

$85,000.00 - For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
