We are growing rapidly! We’re looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer.
The ideal candidate has experience in designing, testing, and bringing up circuit boards for next-generation UAS products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and embedded firmware, ensuring that our systems are robust, scalable, and efficient.
Responsibilities
Design and develop circuit boards for unmanned aircraft systems using Altium Designer. Write and troubleshoot embedded firmware for microcontrollers and custom circuit designs. Lead the bring-up and testing of prototypes, ensuring designs meet performance and reliability goals. Design and optimize power delivery systems, motor controllers, and sensor interfaces for efficient operation. Work with mechanical engineers to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing (DFM). Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements (e.g., FCC, CE, MIL-STD). Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and firmware for seamless system operation. Qualifications
Proficiency in Altium Designer and circuit design for complex embedded systems. Strong experience in PCB layout, testing, and debugging. Embedded firmware development experience, preferably with C/C++. Knowledge of power electronics, signal processing, and sensor integration. Ability to design and troubleshoot high-speed digital and analog circuits. Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and working with contract manufacturers. Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment. Experience ensuring regulatory compliance for electronic devices (FCC, CE, MIL-STD). Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create clear technical documentation. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering or similar field. Benefits
