Network Enterprise Architect
is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an organization's networking systems to align with business objectives. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise-level network architecture, strategic planning, and emerging technologies. The Network Enterprise Architect works closely with key stakeholders to optimize network infrastructure solutions, ensuring performance, security, scalability, and reliability. Detailed Responsibilities: Design scalable, secure, and resilient network infrastructure for the organization. Develop detailed network architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and integration plans in line with business strategies. Guide the design of LAN, WAN, SDN, SSE, cloud-based networks, VPNs, and wireless systems for optimal functionality and security. Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategies for network architecture, supporting digital transformation and emerging technologies like 5G, IoT, and edge computing. Collaborate with IT teams to define network goals, KPIs, and metrics for tracking network performance and future needs. Network Security: Ensure robust network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols. Implement best practices such as zero-trust architecture and secure cloud connectivity. Oversee the integration of third-party solutions and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) into the existing network architecture. Ensure seamless connectivity across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Evaluate and implement network automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools. Lead network design and deployment projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance. Collaborate with IT teams and business units to align network solutions with organizational goals. Mentor IT and network engineering teams, providing technical guidance. Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in network architecture. Conduct regular assessments and performance tuning to ensure reliability and efficiency. Skills & Expertise: Expert knowledge of networking technologies (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP). Experience with network design tools and methodologies. Proficiency with cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SSL/TLS, VPN). Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or other network orchestration platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership and project management abilities. Business acumen with an understanding of how network architecture impacts overall business strategy.
