THE ROLE
Cognizant Technology Modernization is changing the game in Data, Cloud and Generative AI based consultancy services. We strategically drive modern engineering practices and ways of working, along with helping clients in all aspects of enterprise technology solution modernization including AI, Cloud, DevOps, Data and more.
We're looking for a Senior Consultant, Cognizant Consulting who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As the Senior Manager, this means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, solving complex problems, and serving as a people leader.
Responsibilities
Develop data strategies for clients that are tied to business objectives and outcomes
Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, design and implementation to meet stated requirements
Review existing data architectures to determine overall effectiveness and develop strategies for improvement
Manage end-to-end responsibilities for consulting engagements
Ensure the business viability of complex solutions for Cognizant in key accounts
Continuously assess the business for profitability
Formalize best-in-class practices and participate in industry forums
Exercise financial accountability for revenues and margin growth
Establish and nurture relationships with client executives
Build or facilitate the route to market of innovative practice solutions
Manage and mentor a team of direct reports
Lead client presentations during both the sales and implementation cycles
Research new technologies and develop implementation timelines
Deliver outstanding client results through the oversight of client teams
Contribute to the practice through meeting sales targets
QUALIFICATIONS
12+ years of experience developing data strategies
At least 8 years in a consulting or advisory capacity
Strong experience communicating with C-level stakeholders
Expertise in data discovery, extraction, and monitoring
Experience in business development and client relationship management
Demonstrated depth of experience in Life Sciences domain
Ability to travel as required
Successful track record of achieving engagement targets
Possessing a robust network of contacts in professional organizations
International experience supporting global initiatives is a plus
Experience in building high-performing consulting teams
Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture of exceptional outcomes

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between
$137,250 - $218,000
depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off 401(k) plan and contributions Long-term/Short-term Disability Paid Parental Leave Employee Stock Purchase Plan
