Job Description - AVEVA Solution Architect (2400005K)
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator with extensive experience in AVEVA products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our AVEVA solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role will also involve mentoring junior staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the organization's IT goals.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design:
Design and implement server solutions to support business operations, including virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Performance Monitoring:
Monitor system performance and resource utilization, implementing optimizations as needed. Security Management:
Implement and maintain security measures, including patches, updates, and compliance with organizational policies. Backup and Recovery:
Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability. Troubleshooting:
Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking issues, resolving incidents in a timely manner. Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Mentoring:
Provide guidance and training to junior systems administrators and other IT staff. Collaboration:
Work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to support projects and initiatives. AVEVA Solution Architect Responsibilities:
Strategy and Roadmap:
Developing and executing a strategy and roadmap for AVEVA applications. Integrations:
Ensuring that AVEVA integrates with other enterprise systems, such as GIS and SAP. Solution Ownership:
Taking ownership of a specific AVEVA solution offering. End-to-End Work Design:
Designing the end-to-end work process and integrating AVEVA with other systems. Migration:
Supporting the migration of existing products for modernization and upgrades working with Cybersecurity groups. Implementing Data and Software Solutions:
Implementing in the cloud (AWS or Azure). Integrating AVEVA/Autodesk Products:
Integrating with other software platforms such as Document Management Systems, SAP, GIS, to name a few. Qualifications:
15+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, with a strong focus on AVEVA. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. AutoDesk AutoCAD. AutoDesk BIM. AVEVA Administration. AVEVA AIM. AVEVA PCM. AVEVA E3D/PDMS. AVEVA P&ID. Preferred Certifications:
