Data Modeler Role supports data modeling needs for MDM/BPM Workflow project development, under the guidance of the MDM & Data Design team leads. Primary Responsibilities include: Convert preliminary logical data model to 3rd normal form physical model. Perform data modeling for new relational database; collaborate with team lead/senior designer to create data solutions for business and systems requirements. Adhere to, and enforce, data standards and best practices. Attend requirements gathering meetings with team lead, senior designer, application teams, Database Administrators (DBAs), and/or business partners to understand business needs. Create Functional & Technical Documentation for all database structures. Support application teams with data identification and analysis. Convert logical data model to physical model and database in development environment; transition to DBAs for test and production environments. Create and maintain Metadata, including table/column definitions. Prepare, maintain and publish documentation, including business transformation logic (Source-to-Target Mappings), data models and data dictionary reports. Additional Information
