Vice President of Information Technology
to join our team. As the Vice President of Information Technology, you will report directly to the President/CEO and be responsible for maintaining the security and stability of the credit union’s networks, servers, operating systems, and communication links. You will lead the administration of the Information Technology Department, including budgeting, performance monitoring, planning, priority setting, and staff management. Ensuring appropriate data and physical security measures are in place to protect the Credit Union’s information assets is a key responsibility. This position is located in-office in Poughkeepsie, NY. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of related experience. Proven experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure systems, particularly in financial institutions is required. Experience with Symitar/Episys is highly desirable. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on fostering sound relationships and effectively discussing technical issues. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities): Oversee the administration of the Information Technology Department, including budgeting and performance monitoring. Maintain and enhance the security and stability of the Credit Union’s networks, servers, and operating systems. Ensure all appropriate data and physical security measures are in place and operational to protect information assets. Plan and prioritize IT initiatives to align with organizational goals. Manage and mentor IT staff to achieve departmental objectives. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and regulations in cybersecurity and technology.
