Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration and maintenance of Servers, and network appliances like firewall, routers, Access Point, etc. Ensure the complete Network is live and running as per the bank defined procedure and process. In-depth knowledge of systems like Routers, Firewalls, Managed Switch L2 & L3, Access Point and Network Monitoring tools including packet capture and analysis, TCP dump, ICMP etc. Responsible for supporting, managing routes and monitoring FAR expiry and renewals for Servers, Routers, Firewalls, Managed Switched L2 & L3, Access Point and Network Monitoring tools. Responsible for research and development to ensure continual innovation to secure the existing network from new threats. Job Description:
Candidate will be entrusted to lead a team and primary responsibility will be to maintain, monitor and completely manage the networks, it can be a LAN or a WAN network. Good knowledge on Load Balancer. Should be able to coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams to collect information for Network route to be created and submitted to bank for approval. Also should have the ability to train the network administrators to carry on the job. Desired Skills:
Mandatory certifications in CCNA/CCNP/CCIE and/or Firewall. Hands-on experience in configuring different routing protocols, BGP configuration and stringent access policies on CISCO routers and Firewalls. Ability to train the network administrators to carry on the job. Set permissions for access; assign different levels of access to different levels of authority. Testing the network for weaknesses and planning the remedies. Design a new network, set rules and procedures for the Network. Develop a clear disaster recovery plan enabling the client to recover from any unexpected outage. Create new Hardware requirements and ability to design a new Plan for networking on the UPI platform. Lead network infrastructure expansion projects considering planning, managing, implementing and delivering on time. Ensure timely DR testing and work on the findings. Lead, guide & monitor the network team, day-to-day support, administration activity and network testing. Handling of network incidents and performing RCA, finding improvement areas. Ensuring the proper closure of Network & Security audits. Coordinating with different teams for smooth communication and to ensure timely deliveries. Must have flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends. Network Skills:
Routing protocols: OSPF, RIP, BGP. Switching: STP, RSTP, VTP, VLAN, Aggregation Protocols (PAgP/LACP). Network Protocols: TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS. Troubleshooting tools: Wireshark, Putty, tcpdump (any of them). Ticketing tools: ITSM. Monitoring tools: NPMD, Dynatrace, vROPS (any one of them).
