San Jose, CA Job Duties: Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to improve our Generative AI solutions focusing on NLP/LLM areas. Identify and build the best performant solutions/models to solve specific business problems. Conduct applied R&D to experiment with fine tuning of generative AI models for PayPal’s data sources and evaluate trade-offs in performance / cost vs equivalent vendor or open-source capabilities. Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to optimize our Generative AI solutions to align with overall business goals. Stay up to date with the latest NLP/LLM generative AI techniques and trends. Present findings and recommendations to senior management. Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
