This Leapfrog “A” rated hospital is state of the art and has earned multiple awards for collaboration efforts and quality patient care. The Director of Maternal Child Health Services will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across the Pacific Coast. The Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be supported by 4 managers and several tenured charge nurses. This person will lead a fantastic team in a busy department seeing over 300 deliveries per month with seasoned staff devoted to quality care. The Director will oversee that care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough, keeping staff up to date with current best practices and ensuring adherence to guidelines set by the hospital. The position requires collaboration with the CNO and managers to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Director will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives. The San Joaquin Valley area is known for its breathtaking views, from mountains and National Parks to beautiful rivers.
