: Quality Lab Technicians oversee testing to ensure that products meet the established standards of appearance or performance. This includes conducting hourly inspections on parts to maintain conformity and performing dock audits to prevent non-conforming products from reaching customers. Responsibilities/ Duties Assist in identifying out-of-specification (OOS), deviations, and quality problems of products, materials, packaging, and utilities. Assist in inspecting laboratory equipment and utilities. Monitor manufacturing processes according to validation plans and schedules. Collect data required for validation activities aligned with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct daily in-process quality control (QC) inspections at production lines. Document and report sampling conditions, testing activities, and results. Inspect incoming and outgoing products according to shipping policies. Maintain accuracy of QC data and records. Perform routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Perform tests on finished products to ensure compliance with food safety and other requirements. Prepare samples, standards, and solutions. Record results of audits and gather information for product and process quality metric management reports. Review and verify supplier raw material records and results. Support investigations into hygiene standards and non-compliance to quality standards. Position Requirements: HS diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel. Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Good understanding of food safety standards and FDA regulations. Ability to lift 35 lbs. on occasion or frequently. Pay Rate:
$20/hr. to $22/hr. Schedule:
Day shift/ 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Location:
South River, New Jersey 08882.
