Network / Systems Engineer

will have the opportunity to: Review all requirements submitted by the customers and perform end-to-end network systems engineering to identify new requirements to achieve mission needs. Design and implement data networks in support of Cloud Operation mission. Perform network architectural design, implementation, and integration of new systems. Work with engineering and networks teams to provide customer requirements. Design and configure the network while monitoring and maintaining it. Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provide specific detailed information for hardware selection and implement techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet mission needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Qualifications

Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph. Strong Network Engineering & Systems Engineering background supporting activities involving the latest technology in support of Cloud Operations. Experience/Expertise in all areas of network hardware and interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Design and implement failover solutions for major customers. Experience with appliances (ASA), Cisco Nexus 9k’s, as well as Cisco 2960-XR Layer 2 switches. Provide specific network solutions to support server requirements, including load-balancing, VPN’s, firewall contexts, and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate. Knowledge of CISCO 6500 series Catalyst, configuration of switches 9332, 9336, 9508, ASR 1009, 1013, 1003, install GRE tunnels, MPLS, and conduct redundancy tests on multiple CISCO series network equipment. Desired: Experience in the design and implementation of data networks in support of Cloud Operation mission. Knowledge and experience in network management protocols. Benefits

Target Salary Range

$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
