Sequoyah United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Youth Director. As the Youth Director, you’ll work with dedicated and motivated adult volunteers and the youth ministry team to provide an engaging, meaningful, and high-quality experience for the youth.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrate spiritual maturity and a continual desire to personally grow in the likeness of Jesus Christ. Must have a sincere desire to lead, mentor, and provide an outstanding example for young people. Experience as a youth leader or in other leadership capacities within a church or educational environment. Work or volunteer experience in churches working with pastoral leadership. Great team player who understands the importance of working together and developing trust within and between groups. Must obtain a commercial driver’s license to operate church vehicles. High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. If offered a position, the candidate will be subject to a background check in compliance with our Safe Sanctuary Policy.
