Position Overview: As a Bridge Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and evaluation of bridge structures. You will work collaboratively with a team of engineers and project managers to ensure that our bridge projects are executed with precision and adhere to industry standards and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed design and analysis of various types of bridge structures, including roadway and pedestrian bridges. Develop and review construction documents, specifications, and reports. Conduct structural evaluations and inspections of existing bridge infrastructure. Collaborate with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Utilize engineering software for modeling and analysis (e.g., SAP2000, LARSA, or similar tools). Mentor and guide junior engineers in design principles and project execution. Stay current with industry trends, codes, and technologies related to bridge engineering. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required); Master's degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license and Structural Engineer (SE) license are required. 5+ years of experience in bridge design and analysis. Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD, state and local design standards, and relevant codes. Proficient in structural analysis software and AutoCAD or similar drafting tools. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
