Endpoint Security Engineer (Operations)

We are seeking Platform Engineers who are passionate about creating and supporting DevOps tools with emerging technologies to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One. General Responsibilities:
Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios. Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies. Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions. Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community. Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity. Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. At least 1.5 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology. At least 1 year of experience with AWS. At least 1 year of experience with mixed operating system environments (Mac, Microsoft, Linux). At least 1 year of experience with endpoint security deployments. Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in Agile practices. 1+ years of experience with configuration & incident management. 1+ years of experience in one of the following security tools (EDR, DLP, NXLOG, OSQery, Sysmon). 1+ years of experience with AWS, EC2 instances, Lambda functions, RDS or Route53. Experience supporting/deploying endpoint security tools (EDR, Encryption, Behavior Analysis, Hunt & Response). Experience with programming or scripting languages (Python or Go). Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and in large distributed teams.
