Project Manager Civil Engineer - Land/Site Development
Responsibilities:
Leading business development efforts and pursuit planning Providing technical oversight and review of existing project activities Design experience focused on grading, utilities, low impact development, drainage and public improvements Managing staff, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating Reviewing client service needs and contracts Acting as client advocate while maintaining client satisfaction Assisting with entitlement process and permit processing for development projects and coordinating with land use consultants
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Professional registration (PE license) as a Civil Engineer in the state of California Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a project manager in civil engineering design with private development, facilities, infrastructure and public works design projects Ability to manage multi-discipline engineering projects, clients and staff; set fees and negotiate contracts including: prepare and deliver presentations; write proposals; respond to RFPs and RFQs, and project invoicing Prior experience delivering projects for private developers in Southern California and surrounding area municipalities, agencies and institutions Expert technical knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
