We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for projects in Palo Alto or Menlo Park, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is completed on schedule. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings to ensure a safe work environment. Review project plans and specifications with the project management team to develop and implement work plans. Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations. Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during construction. Maintain detailed daily logs and progress reports, communicating updates to the project management team and stakeholders. Ensure materials and equipment are available on-site as needed and coordinate deliveries to avoid delays. Assist with project meetings with subcontractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to review progress and address any concerns. Assist in the development and implementation of project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Maintain weekly 3-week schedule and share with subcontractors and stakeholders. Qualifications: 5+ years of proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in commercial, medical or large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and coordinate with various stakeholders. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and specifications. Solid understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to enforcing them on-site. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Proficiency with construction management software (Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to and from the job site as needed. Core Competencies: Organization: Utilizes strong organizational skills.
