In order to fulfill that mission, we've launched a search focused on identifying an experienced and influential leader to join our Pharmacy team in the role of AVP, Business Technology Implementation. The role requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and/or enterprise wide. The AVP will report directly to the Vice President of Pharmacy Business Improvement. Responsibilities Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Lead an organization of 35-40 associates, including approximately 4 direct reports. Deliver new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. Complete and/or coordinate implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team. Make decisions which are typically related to intradepartmental coordination, development and implementation of strategic plans, and business outcomes. Develop and implement strategic plans for the scope of management that are aligned with the Segment or Business strategy. Deliver and execute on the IT portfolio spend. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field. 8 or more years of direct leadership experience. Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments. Experience facilitating cross-functional and collaborative teams' efforts. Relationship management experience. Experience working in a matrixed environment. Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies. Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field. Pharmacy related experience. Additional Information Work-At-Home location is flexible and remote, anywhere across the US. Requires approximately 10% travel as business needs dictate. Work-At-Home Requirements To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria: Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested; Satellite, cellular, and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. COVID Policy Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
