Join our team as the Director of Enterprise and Security Architecture! As the Director of Enterprise and Security Architecture, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of comprehensive enterprise and security architecture strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps to support the organization's business objectives. This role provides strategic direction, guidance, and oversight to ensure that technology solutions align with the enterprise architecture, security architecture and business goals.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and security requirements. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that technology initiatives support the organization's long-term goals. Establish and enforce architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural and security standards, policies, and principles. Conduct regular reviews of architecture artifacts, projects, and solutions to maintain security, integrity and consistency across the enterprise. Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to determine their potential impact on the security and enterprise architecture. Lead the process of identifying appropriate technologies that support business requirements, security requirements and enhance operational efficiency. Provide guidance and oversight to solution architects in designing robust, reliable, secure and high-performance solutions that align with the enterprise architecture and security standards. Review and approve architectural designs to ensure they meet business and technical requirements. Foster collaboration and communication across business and IT stakeholders to promote understanding and alignment of enterprise architecture principles and strategies. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to facilitate the integration of business processes and technology solutions. Identify architectural risks and vulnerabilities within the IT landscape and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Proactively monitor industry trends and best practices to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities for improvement. Build and develop a high-performing enterprise architecture team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning within the team. Minimum Qualifications Experience in enterprise and security architecture, with a focus on strategic planning, architecture governance, and technology evaluation. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies. Experience with and understanding of NIST CSF, 800-53, PCI, etc. Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving architectural initiatives in a complex organizational environment. Knowledge of cloud computing, microservices architecture, API management, and other modern IT concepts.
