About This Position Join our consulting company as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect and be part of our driven and innovative team. As a trusted Salesforce partner, we excel in B2B, B2C, and multi-cloud marketing solutions. Our team of high-performing professionals operates across multiple global offices, fostering a strong sense of teamwork and building long-term relationships with our customers. As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end innovative solutions for complex technical and digital marketing requirements. You will own and be responsible for the solutioning, development, and documentation of SFMC implementations throughout the project life cycle. Note:
Clients have increasingly returned to their physical locations post COVID. The expectation is that Kenway Consultants will need to live/work in the Chicagoland area.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the capability responsible for the implementation of SFDC Marketing Cloud services including Email Marketing, Content Builder, Journey Builder, SMS, Content Management, Einstein, Automation Studio, or related services (e.g. Data Cloud). Support Sales in partnership with Salesforce on new business opportunities as a representative of a Salesforce Partner Organization. Design and implement robust, scalable solutions for complex SFDC Marketing Cloud projects, ensuring seamless integration with external systems. Creatively and strategically bring to life cross-channel customer journeys/customer experiences through cutting-edge approaches to digital presentation, leveraging a deep understanding of digital user experience. Spearhead complex targeting and personalization strategies, utilizing informed data points to develop advanced segmentation decisions. Advise on how to improve digital marketing KPIs, such as email marketing, PPC, and other marketing conversion metrics. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams, managing expectations and resolving challenges. Adapt to evolving client needs, managing multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining high client satisfaction. Help define and mature Kenway’s internal marketing strategy. Conduct user training and actively promote user adoption of Marketing Cloud. Coach and support internal resources on SFDC functionality. Shape tools, artifacts, and capabilities to enhance our practice and market offerings. Stay updated on market trends to keep our company at the forefront of the industry. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within the client base.
Qualifications, Skills & Credentials
Salesforce certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in SFMC implementations. Experience designing and creating integrated solutions, especially with CRM platforms including Sales Cloud, Hubspot, Dynamics 365, etc. Background in system integrations and integration technologies/platforms, with design and implementation experience. Familiarity with cloud hosting solutions like Heroku, AWS, Azure, etc. Experience with integration environments such as Jitterbit, Zapier, Mulesoft, etc. Skilled in data, analytics, and BI tools like Marketing Cloud Intelligence, Data Cloud, Tableau, PowerBI, etc. Experience with front-end, back-end, and database languages. Ability to lead requirements gathering sessions and speak confidently on solution design. Proven experience in consulting, stakeholder management, and project delivery. Strong technical understanding and platform knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including storytelling, storyboarding, and customer journey mapping. Excellent documentation skills. Team player who builds trust-based relationships and works cooperatively. Growth mindset with a focus on continuous learning and improvement. Results-oriented with high levels of initiative and drive. Exceptional client service skills. Active listener who provides clarity and solves the right problems. Self-confident with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure environments.
