Responsibilities
Provide Personnel Security Support for an un-classified DHS TSA Program. Responsible for management and monitoring of personnel security status to include clearance processing, continuous enrollment, derogatory information processing, personnel incident reports, and SAP processing.
Manage Visitor Request utilizing VAFs, foreign travel reporting and tracking, and assist with issues involving all DC1 Security Team involvement, including supporting Physical, Industrial, and Information security requirements as needed.
Supports key personnel security matters within the company’s Personnel Security Program (PSP) and clearance access requirements under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
Assists with administrative security actions for applicants for entry into employment and for employees for retention in employment with prime and subcontract components utilizing government applications and other agency specific systems.
Receives and initiates correspondence with internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance with ongoing personnel security actions per company policy, procedures, DHS and NISP requirements.
Reviews and evaluates a variety of material relative to personnel clearance requirements to determine adequacy and completeness.
Maintain responsibility for conducting pre-screens evaluations, updates to various databases, security clearance processing, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Address personnel security matters and other clearance related actions for personnel requiring clearances for collateral and sensitive information, including the managing of all PII.
Interact daily with internal and external clients and government security officials to resolve issues.
Serve as a part of a corporate security division within the Security Shared Service Center.
Act as a team player, exhibit flexibility, set priorities, and manage client expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications Must hold an active Public Trust clearance
Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years experience or Master's degree and 3-5 years experience or High school diploma/equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Minimum of three (3) years of personnel security administration with experience in supporting all relevant laws, regulations, and orders relevant to personnel security.
Must have experience with all aspects of DHS EoD and DoD PERSEC policies and procedures, experience providing PERSEC support to compartmented programs and familiarity with Physical, Industrial, and Information security disciplines to support other security requirements as needed.
Must have an understanding of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) and all special security Intelligence Community Directives, as well as other relevant guidance and procedures.
Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a DHS High Risk Public Trust with the ability to obtain / maintain a TS/SCI Clearance in the near future.
Must have Database data entry skills and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
Must be able to maintain personnel security files and internal security tracking systems.
Experience with Defense Information Security System, e-QIP, IDMS, ISMS and be able to provide technical assistance to applicants completing their security questionnaire in the e-QIP process. Assists with documenting personnel security data and maintaining internal and external systems.
Target Salary Range $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
