About the Program Students interested in media, technology and finance are welcome to apply for a position in our San Francisco office. FGS employees are generalists working across industries, but those in San Francisco will have an increased exposure to global clients in the investing and technology sectors, including venture capital and private equity, biotech, AI, robotics, fintech, crypto, enterprise tech and more. Our San Francisco office is seeking highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented students for a full-time summer internship. As an intern in our office, you will have the opportunity to work on accounts across strategic, corporate, and financial communications, and gain hands-on experience working alongside our teams of dedicated and creative communications professionals.

Please note that intern positions for our other US offices will be posted separately. This is a 10-week paid internship ($20.00 hour) beginning on June 2nd and ending August 8th that will

require you to work in-person in San Francisco. Depending on performance, a full-time role after graduation may be available. As part of the intern program, you will: Monitor news, conduct research, create media lists, and aid multiple account teams to help clients with mergers and acquisitions, profile raising, crisis, litigation support, etc. Take part in a mock new business pitch, working collaboratively with other interns to develop a strategy and pitch for a hypothetical new assignment. Learn about the many facets of what we do, including crisis and issues management, government affairs and policy, strategy and reputation, and financial communications (investor relations, M&A, VC and shareholder activism). Participate in a robust internal training program that covers many facets of communications and business more generally. Requirements: Eagerness and desire to learn Strong writer and editor Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Interest in and enthusiasm for business, finance, communications and/or public relations Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills Our goal is to provide an instructive, productive and enjoyable experience, after which you’ll leave FGS Global with a clear understanding of our business, and the skills and knowledge relevant to strategic communications and its facets.
