Insight Global Senior Software Engineer
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our automotive client's team. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for new development and operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Java development and will also have experience supporting their code. This team is responsible for developing the cloud services that are involved in releasing vehicle software and distributing OTA (over the air) software updates to dealerships and vehicles. Compensation: $50/hr - $72/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Skills and Requirements: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience At least 70% backend with Java If they have front end experience, must be Angular 2+ years of experience working within a cloud-based environment (GCP, AWS or Azure) Spring Boot framework and microservices architecture experience Strong experience with RESTful API design and implementation Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes GCP cloud experience Experience with high volume and/or asynchronous applications We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
