OVERVIEW DBHDD operates state hospitals and provides community-based services across the state through contracted providers. The department serves people living with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or any combination of these. As Georgia’s public safety net, our primary responsibility is to serve people who are uninsured. We also serve individuals on Medicaid and others with few resources or options. Description - External The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Facility Security Officer - Full Time at Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA. Salary Range:

$39,436.00 – $47,715.00 based on experience Shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM Job Summary: Under supervision, patrols assigned areas to detect and prevent crime, respond to emergency situations, and conduct or assist in conducting investigations involving criminal activity in the facility or institution. Operates and inspects emergency vehicles in the performance of routine and specialized duties. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Under supervision, patrols assigned areas to detect and prevent crime, respond to emergency situations. Operates and inspects emergency vehicles in the performance of routine and specialized duties. This position is subject to close at any time once a satisfactory applicant pool has been identified.
