Hypersonic Systems Solution Architect
for its Hypersonics Engineering, Integration and Test Department. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. The position will provide technical leadership for delivering innovative solutions in pursuit of new opportunities as well as technology improvements to existing programs in the areas of boost glide and air-breathing hypersonic systems, reentry systems and targets, advanced materials and high-speed/hypersonic testing. Successful candidates will interact with internal and external stakeholders to define system level requirements and integrate results of analysis and tests performed into a comprehensive customer deliverable demonstrating design capabilities and the ability to meet customer needs. Hypersonic Systems Solution Architect
that supports Engineering in developing and executing the strategy for our hypersonics and strategic systems portfolio. Experience with weapon systems, preferably missile, reentry systems, and hypersonic systems is required. Familiarity with system architectures, CONOPS, and propulsion solutions is desired. The candidate is expected to be a critical partner with technology, engineering, and other solution architects to coalesce the division's strategy along with the technology strategy. Basic Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM degree program from an ABET accredited school is required. Candidate should have 12+ years of relevant experience. The following skills/abilities are desired: Excellent communications skills - demonstrated through written and oral presentations, development of technical papers, volumes, or similar products Possess business and technical vision Ability to think strategically Possess analytical presentation and problem-solving skills Proven record of success developing technical solutions within the DoD Community (winning single award >$150M pursuits) Experience developing and maintaining architecture artifacts, and effectively communicating the design to executive and technical stakeholders Demonstrated skills in all areas of capture including opportunity qualification, capture strategy, customer visits and demonstrations, customer relationship development, written submissions (market surveys, RFI responses, support to proposals), team leadership, etc. Subject matter expertise in high-speed weapons, hypersonics and/or missiles. Experience presenting to senior executives, peers, and customers Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. Preferred Qualifications Experience and demonstrated skill in any of the following areas is also a plus:
Secret clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility 10+ years leading people, teams, and programs. The ideal candidate has developed solutions for pursuits in the DoD market. Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish solid working relationships with technical staff, division managers, and peers across the corporation.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements, or other law.
