Who You Are:

As a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner at Foundation Partners Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture, influencing HR strategy, and supporting the growth and success of our teams across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington. You'll collaborate with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals, promote a positive, high-performance culture, and drive initiatives that inspire engagement, innovation, and development.

What You Will Do:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, offering expert guidance to managers and employees on state-specific employment laws and company policies.
  • Provide proactive coaching and counsel to leaders on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, and terminations.
  • Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into employee complaints and concerns while ensuring adherence to state-specific labor laws and company policies.
  • Collaborate with HR, and management teams to develop strategies for resolving workplace issues and minimizing risk.
  • Analyze trends in employee relations data and provide actionable recommendations for improving workplace culture, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Partner with regional leadership teams to ensure consistent implementation of employee relations policies across all locations, while considering regional legal requirements.
  • Keep leadership informed about emerging legal trends and regulatory changes affecting employee relations in California, Oregon, Colorado, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada.
  • Lead or support the development and implementation of training programs focused on employee relations best practices and compliance with state-specific laws.
  • Manage employee relations cases, track resolutions, and report outcomes to senior management while ensuring confidentiality and legal compliance.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
    • 7+ years of experience in progressive HR roles, with at least 5 years in a senior HRBP or HR leadership position.
    • Deep knowledge of HR laws, employee relations, and talent management.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that drive business results.

  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Proficient with ADP and HR data analytics tools.
    • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with California, Oregon, Colorado, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada labor laws, including but not limited to, wage and hour regulations, anti-discrimination laws, family leave policies, and workers' compensation laws.
    • Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases and investigations in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
