Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel T4H 15475086 PACU 2 years' experience required Unit Notes • Job Description: preop surgical patients and/or recover surgical patients in Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery. o Preop: weights, vitals, assessment, IVs, pre-medications o Phase 1: vitals, assessments, pain control, post-op nausea/vomiting control o Phase 2: vitals, assessments, patient education, prepare for discharge • Hours: we are open to either five 8-hour shifts or four 9-hour shifts, Monday-Friday. Or even one of both. There is no call/holiday/weekend/night requirement. • Requirements: ACLS and PALS certified, 2 years experience in preop and/or recovery of surgical patients • General Information: multi-specialty surgery center; GI, general, ENT, plastics, dental, ortho, podiatry, GYNE, urology, ophthalmology. We have 4 ORs, 6 Phase 1 bays, and 14 Phase 2 rooms.
