Insight Global Title: Business Analyst/ Scrum Master Terms: 12 months ongoing extensions Location: Remote PST hours Responsibilities: Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework Resolve conflicts and issues that occur Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity Support the product owner and provide education where needed Facilitate meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective) Provide timely and professional responses to client inquiries or escalate as appropriate Respond to user support requests and assist with application level issues as necessary Understand application functionality and follow up on releases with Product teams, understand the current features, know issues and FAQ of the applications Understand Enterprise/ organization level changes and coordinate with platform and product teams to verify impacts post changes Understand platform architecture, work with other operations team, participate in issue triage calls to drive fixes to production Analyze moderate complexity business processes and information needs of the client Coordinate releases with respective support teams Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes Qualifications: Education details Required Skills: Scrum Master Strong documentation, being able to capture and articulate requirements Serve as information exchange point between engineers, stakeholders and PO- ensuring the stories are within scope Preferred Skills: Familiar with scrum team practices and scrum ceremonies Creative problem-solving skills A can-do attitude and dedicated team player Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally in matrix managed organization Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict Equal Opportunity Statement: Include a statement on commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
