Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,742 per week in Yuma, AZ

Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiation Therapist Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active in AZ or Compact Certifications: BLS, ARRT (T) Must-Have: EPIC experience, experience with Varian equipment, 2 years of experience Description: The role involves assisting patients on and off the treatment table. Responsibilities include starting and stopping the beam/treatment in a supportive capacity. There are 40-45 treatments per day on average. The department uses EPIC and Aria software for operations. The equipment used is from Varian. A Radiation Therapist lead is available on each shift. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with varied start times. Shifts are 8 hours long. There are no weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements. The department provides 1 day of orientation. Scrub color is black, and scrubs are provided. This is an opportunity to work under a Radiation Physician in an acute care setting. There are no requirements to start IVs for this role. This position does not require Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs). The facility operates under Level 2 Trauma care standards.
