About the Position: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Start date: biweekly starts Shift: Monday-Friday 11p-730a. Call sat/sun 11p-730a as needed. Department orientation will be monday-friday 3p-1130p for a week or two before they go to overnight shift. Department training will be Monday-Friday 3p-1130p for 2-3 weeks before moving to the weekend shift. Types of Cases REQ: Ortho, DaVinci, ENT, Spine, Neuro, Open Heart, GYN, General, Cysto Daily Average Surgical Case Volume: 50-55 Average Daily Tray Volume: 250-300 Years of experience REQ: 2 years - 3 years preferred Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Work Setting Experience: Community Hospital General Skills Experience: Sterilization, Decontamination, Assembly/Wrap, Case Cart, Equipment Documentation Instrument/Tray Reprocessing: General, OB/GYN, Plastic, ENT, Cardiovascular/Thoracic, Laparoscopic, Urology, Robotic, Ortho, Ortho/Totals, Neuro/Spine, Neuro/Crani First-timers accepted: Y Weekend REQ: Call Sat/Sun 11p-0730 as needed National Certs REQ: IAHCSMM Is on-call REQ?
