Corporate and Investment Bank - Fixed Income Financing Sales - Vice President

You will be based in the New York Office but will be part of the wider and growing fixed income financing focused sales team in North America.As a sales person within the Fixed Income (FI) Financing Sales team, you will join the wider North America based sales team who deal in all major markets, as it pertains to repo and financing products. You will transact in these markets across a wide range of clients (asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, etc). You will be someone who thrives in a role where a blend of teamwork and independent work is required so a collaborative mindset is a must and having self-starter entrepreneurial attitude is a plus. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as a large part of your role will entail frequent and ongoing dialogue between both internal stakeholders and clients. Your main client base will be North America and London Based. Job responsibilitiesCollaborate with our partners in trading and research to provide comprehensive client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for market updates, assisting with the execution of client trades and providing clients with market intelligenceWork closely with the broader Macro Sales team providing repo and financing specialist market expertiseTake responsibility for full trade lifecycle starting from checking KYC, legal documentation, credit lines to then trade execution including trade booking, and general sales coverageDemonstrate proficiency in identifying market drivers and product lingo while showing a high degree of interest in broader fixed income marketsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsRelevant experience in a front-office markets role and a solid understanding of macroeconomicsStrong understanding of global fixed income markets products with particular emphasis on repo/reverse repo and funding toolsClear, logical thinker with strong qualitative abilities and creative problem solver with ability to perform well under pressureStrong team player that is detail oriented with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality controlMeticulous attention to detail and ability to multitaskEffective communication skills to interact with internal partners and clientsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsKnowledge of global repo/funding markets, especially in the government bond spaceProficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft OfficeAbility to learn quickly, multi-task and self-manage priorities JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
