Job Description:
As a member of Fidelity's Engineering Operations team, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that equipment operates reliably, and the uptime of the facility is increased. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be self-performing or overseeing vendor-performed maintenance on critical equipment serving data centers and offices.! You'll also coordinate or perform reactive maintenance and handling repairs in response to work orders.

You'll also coordinate or perform reactive maintenance and handling repairs in response to work orders.
The Expertise You Have
- Journeyman license or Associates/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent electrical experience in a related field.
- 3+ years of related facilities experience with Commercial Building Electrical systems including medium voltage switchgear and substations.
- Perform functional testing, including protection and control schemes, on medium voltage systems.
- Ensure that all equipment is installed and commissioned in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and industry standards
- Knowledge of transformers, reclosers, primary meters, and SEL relays
- Prepare and review commissioning documentation, including test procedures and as-built drawings
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction documents and O&M manuals.
- Knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, CMMS and BMS systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of Electrical industry standards, protocols, installations, and best trade practices, along with a working knowledge of electrical, fire safety and IT infrastructure.
- Ability to develop and maintain procedures such as SOP, MOP etc.
- Highly organized and diligent to balance maintenance priorities and procedures.

- Work with electrical distribution systems and equipment (up to 15KV).
- Performs all preventive and remedial maintenance work on building electrical systems to assure critical distribution systems including the generators and UPS requirements are met with minimal adverse business impact!
- Demonstrates the ability to monitor multiple building systems, correcting deficient performance through BAS adjustments, on-site remedial maintenance and effective emergency response actions when required.
- Direct and assist as necessary, vendors/contractors performing remedial repair activities.
- Uses tools, processes, procedures, and notifies/advises superiors as appropriate to ensure the consistent flow of information and activities.
- Complete daily log entries / update engineering staff via email.
- Support Fidelity's ISO-14001 Environmental Management System
- Demonstrates ability to switch to standby generators and bypass UPS systems when an electrical alarm or failure occurs, consistent with procedures, communicating all actions taken through the critical issue process.
- Demonstrates the ability to employ both an electrical riser and one-line diagram to locate, employ or correct faulty electrical circuits and related protective devices.
- Finishing all critical maintenance on time and with attention to detail.
