Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings. This role requires a strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and a commitment to safety and quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local regulations.

- Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with sprinkler systems and make necessary repairs or adjustments.

- Accurately complete documentation, including service reports, inspection forms, and inventory logs.

- Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and building personnel to ensure systems are installed and maintained according to specifications.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes and regulations.

- Respond to emergency service calls and provide prompt and effective solutions.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in fire protection, plumbing, or a related field preferred.

- NICET Level I certification required; NICET Level II strongly sought after.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, maintenance, and repair.

- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work at heights, and handle physical tasks.

Preferred Skills:

- NICET II certification in Fire Protection (Water-Based Systems).

- Familiarity with various types of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

Salary and Benefits:

- $22 - $40 an hour DOE
