We have Immediate full-time opening for a Quality Control Technician.

Job Responsibilities
  • This position is responsible for finished products including documentation of final inspections and testing.
  • Inspect finished products by confirming specifications on blueprints, conducting visual and/or measurement tests and returning products for rework.
  • Inspect re-worked products in final.
  • Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspection of raw material, components, and sub-assemblies used in final assembly.
  • Document and report inspection findings and results and monitor corrective actions to inspection findings.
  • Initiate Non-Conformance reports (material rejection notices) as required.
  • Conduct various tests and quality checks on finished products to ensure the product has been tested and falls within standards.
  • Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds.
  • Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly.
  • Rejects defective parts, and marks type of defect on part, container of parts or inspection tag.
  • Interprets engineering drawings, diagrams and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
  • Perform other quality system processes at the direction of the Quality Director.
  • Assist with attaching parts to final product.
  • Test assembled electrical components.
  • Designs and develops forms and instructions (Run Charts) for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data.
  • Communicates with and directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product.
  • Inspects product, providing receiving inspection of purchased goods, 1st piece inspection of product in-process, and Final Acceptance of finished product.
  • May maintain Gage Calibration system, including checking, calibrating, repairing gages and issuing gages.
Education / Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 to 4 years of job-related trade school or vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship.
