They are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Preconstruction Manager to join their dynamic team.
Job Description
- Lead preconstruction efforts on multiple projects, from conceptual estimates to detailed bid proposals.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client goals and financial constraints.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating timelines with the broader project team.
- Conduct value engineering reviews to optimize project costs without compromising quality or design intent.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design and construction issues.
- Analyze and mitigate potential risks during the preconstruction phase.
- Lead bid solicitation and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and clients on preconstruction progress and project feasibility.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in preconstruction or construction management, with a focus on estimating, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Proficient in preconstruction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client expectations and lead project teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience in [commercial, residential, industrial] projects is preferred.
