Position Title: System Engineer
Location: 2-day weekly minimum on site at WJHTC in Egg Harbor, NJ. Must be willing to travel 10% of the time outside of designated work environment.
Clearance Requirement: US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Position Overview : Marathon TS is seeking a Systems Engineer to join one of our federal projects supporting the Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS) program team to provide operational support for maintaining the hardware and software platform for the FAA's information system. Candidates must be comfortable with 10% travel outside of designated work environment, as you will be required to coordinate with FAA regional headquarters, service areas, logistics center, field offices, and other contractors working at FAA facilities and systems to ensure all necessary work is planned, communicated, delivered, installed, and checked out.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate with other system personnel to verify FAA systems pass acceptance and assessment tests to satisfy all the proposed projects/services at a specific site.
- Conduct hardware evaluation and demonstrate ability to perform helpdesk ticket analysis, field/site issue support and troubleshooting.
- Plan, execute, transition, and integrate site support activities as well as perform system installation and checkout.
- ssist with testing, determine test requirements and create site-specific and enterprise records and other documentation.
- Work with Traffic Flow Management System program and sustainment offices to maintain the Traffic Flow Management-Infrastructure (TFM-I) enterprise information system for the FAA.
- Provide site support, development, configuration, testing, documentation, risk assessment, evaluation, subject matter expertise, operations integration, and impact analysis to new system components or capabilities that affect the National Airspace System (NAS).
- Information systems engineering, functional analysis of ATC/M system requirements, development, production, test, and evaluation of related information systems.
- Systems engineering activities oversight, demonstrated expertise with new and legacy systems, technical alternative analyses, acquisition management of information systems, and information management tools.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 0-5 years of experience
- Bachelor of Science degree
- US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Experience with Traffic Flow Management enterprise
- System Engineering Process knowledge
- RedHat Linux knowledge
- Job code resource tool
- Expertise with MS Office Suite
- Networking, Oracle WebLogic, Cloud, AWS operations and database administration.
- dditional skills desired include Scripting language experience for Shell, Python and Perl
- Strong troubleshooting experience is required
- Systems engineering, software and hardware engineering, testing, integration, and operational support experience
