Senior Environmental Fate Expert – Exciting Company Step into a pivotal role with our client, a leading R&D-driven crop protection company, as a Principal Regulatory Environmental Fate Scientist. The company’s holistic approach ensures their products meet the highest scientific and regulatory standards, contributing to sustainable global food production.Responsibilities: Model environmental exposure of pesticides in groundwater, soil, and surface water. Utilize core EU models such as SWASH, PEARL, PELMO, and PERSAM. Enhance risk assessments with higher tier models and tools. Draft technical documents and position papers. Develop innovative solutions for environmental risk assessments. Oversee GLP studies and derive environmental endpoints. Prepare national addenda and draft Registration Reports. Collaborate closely with ecotoxicology colleagues. Mentor junior staff in environmental fate. Key Requirements: Minimum 6 years of experience in environmental fate of agrochemicals. Expertise in environmental exposure modeling and EU models. Proven experience in refining risk assessments and EU regulations. Strong ability to prepare draft Registration Reports and national addenda. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Desirable experience in mentoring junior staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of statistical analyses and programming.
