Description
The Human Resources Department is positioned for growth, and we are looking for the best and brightest minds to join us along the way. The Human Resources Intern supports HR functions by collaborating with employees, managing integration activities for acquisitions, and utilizing HRIS databases for reporting and data analysis. Responsibilities include responding to HR inquiries, assisting with HR programs (e.g., intern programs, employee engagement, new hire orientation), and supporting benefit administration. The position also involves contributing to HR projects, including policy, employee relations, and compensation, while performing additional duties as assigned.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with employees to complete the HR functional work for their respective business functions.
- Work on integration activities related to recent acquisitions.
- Utilize our HRIS databases to pull employee and manager inputs to run reports and summarize information. Analyze data and create charts as needed.
- Complete additional HR projects assigned by HR Leaders. May cover policy, employee relations, compensation, or other topics.
- Answer incoming calls to the HR helpline and respond to questions received via email to the shared inbox.
- Assist with the execution of HR programs including the summer intern program, employee engagement initiatives, and new hire orientation.
- Support the administration of benefit-related activities determining eligibility and implementation
- Perform other duties when assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Pursuing a BS/BA degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Communication, or Management.
- Planning to graduate in December 2025 or May 2026.
- 3.0 GPA (or greater)
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain discretion concerning confidential information.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Public speaking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities; must be a self-starter and take the initiative in completing projects and assignments.
- Customer-focused with strong attention to detail and capable of delivering quality results in a timely, and professional manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively work with internal and external resources.
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills.
