YOUR ROLE
In this role, you will have general responsibility for managing daily QSHE activities to ensure the site stays compliant. Reporting to our QSHE Manager, you will be deeply involved in inspections to ensure compliance with the company, client, and regulatory requirements. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, and you will be paid $23.00 per hour.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct and coordinate QSHE and safety training sessions and evaluate and test forklift operators for certifications
- Conduct the annual QSHE review with local management and prepare the annual QSHE reports
- Review and ensure that departmental SOPs and work instructions are current
- Investigate incidents to determine the causes and prevent similar events from happening in the future
- Analyze and assess risks to strengthen QSHE performance and ensure safety. Conduct regular risk assessments
- Manage and monitor emergency procedures, signage, and PPE
- Process damage claims
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in the QSHE department in a similar position, such as a QSHE Specialist
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with expertise in stakeholder engagement, training, and presentation
- Recent forklift operating experience preferred
