Position Overview:
Creek Technologies is in search for a Systems Engineer IV is a senior-level role focused on designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level Windows Server and virtualization solutions within a Department of Defense (DoD) healthcare environment. This role demands deep technical expertise in Windows Server, virtualization technologies, and security solutions. The individual will be responsible for the full lifecycle of infrastructure platforms, from planning through sustainment, ensuring these systems meet organizational and security requirements.

This role demands deep technical expertise in Windows Server, virtualization technologies, and security solutions. The individual will be responsible for the full lifecycle of infrastructure platforms, from planning through sustainment, ensuring these systems meet organizational and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design & Deployment: Lead the design, testing, and deployment of enterprise-level infrastructure solutions, including Windows Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022), Storage Area Networks (SAN), VMware vSphere, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and other related technologies.
- Security Implementation: Implement and sustain DoD-compliant security solutions, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Microsoft Group Policy, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and endpoint security solutions such as Trellix ESS and Splunk.
- Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support for deployed infrastructure platforms in both lab and production environments. Assist system administrators with complex troubleshooting and collaborate with vendors to resolve critical issues.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with architecture teams to evaluate and recommend emerging technologies. Provide guidance and leadership on major technology projects and may supervise other engineers as needed.
- Documentation & Reporting: Document all phases of the engineering process, including infrastructure build and configuration, testing, deployment, and updates. Ensure that all system changes and upgrades are properly coordinated with stakeholders.
- Technology Evaluation & Strategy: Analyze and evaluate new infrastructure platforms and emerging technologies. Make recommendations for the adoption of these technologies based on business and security needs.
- 15+ years of experience architecting, deploying, and managing enterprise-level Windows Server and Virtualization solutions in a DoD healthcare environment.
- Advanced expertise in the design, deployment, and management of technologies such as Windows Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022), VMware vSphere, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure.
- In-depth experience with DoD security solutions and compliance frameworks, including STIGs, ACAS, RMF, and endpoint security.
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA Network+
