Rothman Orthopaedics is looking for a Worker's Compensation Coordinator to join our team! The Workers' Compensation Coordinator is a call center position that fields a high volume of calls related to Worker's Compensation. This individual will be responding to requests from patients, insurance companies, nurse case managers, adjusters, and other referral sources. Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED minimum education requirement
- Two (2) years experience in the worker's compensation field
- Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office
- In a high call volume position, responds to all requests from nurse case managers, adjusters and attorneys and all relevant referral sources with regard to workers' compensation issues.
- Schedules appointments in a timely fashion.
- Verifies patients' workers' compensation insurance.
- Works with allied health staff to obtain completed forms and expedites care.
- Assists with pre-certification and approval as necessary.
- Updates patients' accounts.
- Assists the call center with scheduling.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
