Experience with circuits and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a plus. This role also requires flexibility to travel within the continental U.S. and Canada to support various projects and client engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Development:

    • Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical components and systems using CREO software.
    • Create, interpret, and revise detailed mechanical drawings adhering to GD&T standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the integration of electromechanical systems, particularly in the development and maintenance of munitions and munition systems.
  • Munitions Expertise:

    • Apply engineering principles in the design, testing, and development of munitions and related systems.
    • Ensure all designs comply with safety, security, and regulatory standards specific to munitions handling and usage.
  • Analysis & Optimization:

    • Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate and optimize electromechanical designs.
    • Conduct circuit design and integration as needed to support mechanical and electromechanical systems.
  • Project Support:

    • Assist in the development and testing of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) components and munitions-related systems.
    • Travel to project sites, client locations, and other relevant areas within the continental U.S. and Canada to provide hands-on support for munition system development and deployment.
  • Documentation & Standards:

    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of engineering documentation, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols for munitions and electromechanical systems.
    • Ensure all designs and systems meet stringent regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to munitions.
Qualifications
