We are seeking an experienced Validation Engineer specializing in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing cutting-edge verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification techniques for EDA tools, ensuring they meet rigorous performance, power, and area specifications in semiconductor design.

Responsibilities

- Verification & Validation: Develop and implement comprehensive verification methodologies to ensure EDA tools produce accurate outputs under diverse scenarios.

- Performance & Compliance: Conduct detailed validation processes to ensure that designs meet stringent performance, power, and area targets, aligning with real-world manufacturing standards.

- Uncertainty Quantification: Perform in-depth uncertainty quantification to assess the reliability and confidence of design predictions, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the design process.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with machine learning and design experts to integrate advanced validation workflows into automated design processes.

- Tool Integration: Seamlessly integrate validation processes with industry-standard tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA) through APIs to enhance workflow efficiency.

- Design Review: Lead thorough design reviews to verify compliance with customer specifications and industry standards, detecting potential issues early in the design cycle to save time and reduce costly revisions.

Key Requirements

- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in verification and validation of EDA tools, with a strong background in numerical simulations and automation processes.

- Tool Knowledge: Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools from companies such as Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens, or similar.

- API Integration: Familiarity with integrating validation processes into EDA workflows through APIs.

- Uncertainty Quantification: Knowledge of uncertainty quantification and its application to EDA validation processes.

- Experience: Prior experience in semiconductor design validation, particularly in performance, power, and area verification.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with verification tools from companies like Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens EDA.

- In-depth knowledge of design review processes and tools, and a demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, integrating new technologies into existing design workflows.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in verifying complex EDA outputs.
